Loveless – How To Love You (feat. Thomas Eriksen)

After several years as prominent characters in each their end of the domestic music scene, Norwegian duo. Loveless join forces with Thomas Eriksen on their debut single “How To Love You”.

Being R&B and British club music lovers at heart, Filip Kollsete and Eirik Tillerli now hope to create the music they love – soulful music over rhythm and bass melodies. The music video features model couple Rikke Kalsveen (Lindex, Porto Brazil byJenny Skavlan) and Kingsley Dankwah in a sexy, mobile love story. The video is directed by photographer Jeton Kacaniku.

– “We were discussing the fascinating ways people fall in love these days, where a few Instagram-likes and some snaps seem to have the power to trigger a crush and kick start a relationship. Jeton, in his music video debut, did a great job of capturing that on film in a fun way”, says Filip.

Eirik adds that they wanted a video which represented diversity.
– “We have both experienced being judged for being in a relationship that some might not find appropriate. This is our way to tell these people to fuck off! A video based around physical attraction, but at the same time manages to express a deeper meaning.”

Towards the end of 2013 the two formed Loveless and their first release, a remix of Norwegian singer Sigrid Raabe’sTwo Fish”, drew the attention of Discobelle – one of the largest blogs for electronic music. The track was also playlisted by Norwegian national radio channel NRK P3, and shortly after Sigrid Raabe had the honor of performing the original version on live national television. In March, Loveless followed up with an unofficial remix of Kid Ink’sShow Me”, which was praised by Hypetrak and Kid Ink’s manager DJ Ill Will. In addition to his role in Loveless, Filip has produced as many as five songs playlisted on NRK P3, Norway’s biggest radio channel, in the last six months.

Joining Loveless on their debut single “How To Love You” is singer Thomas Eriksen, who has worked with the likes of Nico & Vinz, Maria Mena and Truls.

Last but not least we can say that since the discovery of their “Two Fish” we have been swept away by Loveless and their love for the music they create. If i was a fortune teller, i would probably tell you that these two  will sooner or later be worldwide. Preferably sooner than later. But since i’m no fortune teller, i will let you determine for yourself.
